Enrolment Day
Thanks so much to everyone who helped out last Friday for Enrolment Day signing
up people with both membership and classes, talking to people, counting the money,
setting up and clearing up and making the tea.
It was a great collective attempt and we had a very successful day.
I am looking forward to a successful new term with you all!
A special ‘Welcome aboard’ to all our new sign ups – I hope that you enjoy your time
in U3A Foyle. Get in touch if you need anything – there are always volunteers in the
front office who are happy to help with any queries and I am here to help too.
There will NOT be any classes with Mervyn this week but for the next two weeks
(weeks beginning Monday 9th and Monday 16th) ALL of Mervyn’s classes will be
taster sessions offered at no charge to members.
You can try them out and then sign up for the bank of 12 classes starting the week of
23rd September.
Spaces in other Classes
I will be sending out more information later this week about classes that still have
spaces in them.
Some of our groups which employ tutors may not be able to run if we don’t have
sufficient signup.
Watch this space for further details.
Error in the Prospectus
I had listed the Italian Improvers and the Pre Intermediate classes on Wednesdays
to start on 25th Sept – this should have read 2nd October. Apologies
