Local History – PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF TIME THIS MONTH!
There will be a Local History session this Wednesday 1st February starting this month at 11.45am instead of 11am as a one-off.
David from ‘Derrie Danders’ will be here in the building to take us through one of his Local History tours and hopefully reveal a few hidden gems from about the town that you may never have heard about.
Versus Arthritis
The talk will take place tomorrow at 12.30 -1.30pm in U3A Foyle.
This is an introductory talk and if we have interest we will be beginning a 6 week Living with a long term illness course later in the month.
All are welcome.
Financial Planning Workshop
There will be a Financial Planning Workshop on Thursday 9th February with Martin.
If you wish to attend please contact Martin by email on <martinmcdaid@hotmail.com> so he can confirm numbers and also send you the Powerpoint presentation and other details.
Derry Ladies Bridge
There will NOT be a session of the Derry Ladies Bridge next Monday 6th February as there will be a FREE lunch in the Waterfoot Hotel at 1pm instead. This is a chance for all ladies to come together, discuss the club, current setup and way forward. All members past and present are invited to come along and have some input and a lovely lunch!

Valerie’s Wednesday Bridge Class
Valerie has unfortunately had to cancel Wednesday’s class due to a bereavement.
The room will be free if the group wishes to meet up and practice some bridge themselves but there will not be a class.
Podiatry Clinic
There are still some appointments for the Podiatrist on Thursday 16th February 2023 between 9.30am and 12noon. Call the office to make an appointment and you pay the Podiatrist directly on the day.
Singing Lessons & Guitar Lessons
We have a new potential tutor for both individual Singing classes and individual Guitar lessons. If interested please let the front office know and hopefully we can get them up and running.
We are anticipating that the lessons will take place on a Monday or Thursday morning.
